Baby shower gift

My young brother-in-law, he is 13, taught me how to make a box out of paper. He used old cards, I use scrap paper. Turned out pretty cute...

Fresh eggs!

A friend of my husband has chickens. She invited us over to pick some eggs! Those chickens have a really good life!

The chicken coop is really nice and everything is done for the chickens well being. This lady makes sure everything is done the right way. She uses solar power and all kinds of stuff!

With our fresh eggs, I made an egg casserole for supper. It was delicious!

The day didn't start out good (little sleep and grumpyness), but it sure ended great!

Future gifts

Yeah! I finally managed to knit Mary-Jane's! I've been wanting to knit these for a while now, but the patterns I found were to hard for me. Then I stumbled across this pattern : http://home.howstuffworks.com/free-baby-bootie-knitting-patterns2.htm
They're not hard to make, it just takes concentration and counting. I wish I had made these for my girls when they were little babies, Baby A is trying to walk now, so these wouldn't be too safe.

These booties I've been making for a while now. Super easy and not much consentration!

New cousin

We got a new member of our family! A sweet little boy was born to my sis-in-law two weeks ago. Look at all that hair! Prinsesse E enjoyed holding him!
Every little boy needs a tie! I got this idea from Etsy ( love that site!) I cut out tie shapes and sewed it on onsies. So simple and fun!

A little bit of spring

We haven't had that much snow this year, but I have a feeling we'll have a really long winter. I actually really like winter, but by Feb I'm getting tired of it (since it starts so early here..... ) So a little bit of spring inside always helps to lift the mood.
